Comments:I've been playing for about 6 years,I've got 2 kramers (80's era) and an ESP ''strat'' style guitar I built from parts back when ESP sold parts to the public.I would probaly look for a different guitar if something happened to this guitar,I got it for three reasons,(1)I wanted a tune-o-matic bridge because all of my other guitars have trems,(2) it was cheap,(3)it was very well built for being so cheap.I like the fact that it is bare bones-no frills but at the same time it's very well made, some might not like the 1-hum. design, but most of my guitars are 1-hum 80's axes so I'm used to it.I would probably jump on an epiphone explorer,if they were made as good for the money,if your a guild nut but can't afford a blues bird, get a dearmond M-55 OR 65,or if your a fender guy wanting something akin to a gibson, but don't want to leave camp get a guild or dearmond they are both owned by fender and are a seriously better deal than a gibson or epiphone. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
