Review for: Fury Fireball Baritone
Purchase price of 849 USD
Rating: 4.0
Comments:I didn't really evaluate other baritones before getting this, excepta Danelectro 6-string bass and a Fender Bass VI. I also looked atan Ibanez 7-string as an alternative. I can't afford an expensivecustom baritone anyway, so I didn't have that many options. HELgave me a week to see if I like it, so I decided I'd give it a tryand if I didn't like it I'd probably look at getting a Tele andputting a Moses baritone neck on it. Anyway, it's got the mostbalanced sound and by far the best sustain of everything I've lookedat, as well as incredibly solid construction. It also had the bestclarity.I've been playing guitar for some 8 years, and bass for about 5,and I wanted something that played like a guitar but sounded lower. If I lost this one, I'd probably get another unless I had enoughmoney to look at something custom.I think that if this was a guitar and not a baritone (Fury does makea normal-scale Fireball, btw) I wouldn't quite like it as much asmy Gibson RD Artist, but it's my second favorite instrument rightnow behind my Hoyer archtop (which is a Super 400 clone thing).More than anything else, this makes me want an acoustic baritone... Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
