acoustic guitars
Review for: Oscar Schmidt OG-2N
Purchase price of 179 USD
Rating: 5.0
Comments:Were Priscilla lost, I don't know -what- I'd do. After five years of puttering around with her, she's really become a family member. Can she be replaced? It's almost a rather personal question.Still, she's my favorite, even though I have a '74 Les Paul worth maybe a grand and an Ibanez 12-string acoustic worth a couple times what she's worth. Fun to play, sounds good to me, sounds better to the audience -- and you can't beat the price. My biggest concern (not complaint) is the plastic fretboard; it's starting to wear, and where it wears it gets slightly off-color and seems to be less slick; that does affect bends just a tiny bit. On the whole, a great guitar to start out with, and that's not even accounting for the price. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
