Review for: Peavey Foundation Bass
Purchase price of 260 USD
Rating: 3.0
Comments:I've been playing for 2 or so years, but am better than most every bassist I know. I use a Peavey Cirrus 5 string as my main bass, and love it. I have had so much gear I can't keep it all straight. I just got rid of a Peavey Mark VIII head, and will soon get a Ampeg SVT 3PRO head... I also play guitar have a Marshall VS265R combo and an ESP guitar...lots of other neat things too...inculding a George Dennis Parametric Volume/Wah which is INCREDIBLE! I looked at this bass for a while because I was searching for a cheap practice bass. I hate the way this thing has the neck raised so much above body..most bolt-ons are like that, but I guess I hate bolt on basses. I like that's it's cheap, durrable and slappable. If I had bought this for my first bass I would have been a much happier begginer. I wish I had a Modulus Flea Bass and a Ernie Ball or Peavey Van Halen guitar. If you starting out, or looking for a cheap bass, get this Foundation thing. And listen to Funk! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
