electric pickups
Review for: M22SD (Passive humbucker)
Purchase price of 43 USD
Rating: 4.0
Comments:Peavy Classic30 combo w/a Boss Metalzone Distortion pedal
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play metal, emo ,Blues
I would buy it again if Carvin would kick in some bass. I really loved the sound but the lowend wasn't there, it is a real crunchyscooped mids pickup. I would love it if there was more bass, a small increment less treble, and a tad more midrange. I'm satisfiedwith the sound but I just have to turn the bass up a little bit more.I compared this to a Dimarzio PAFPro (which I love). I did have thisPU in my LP but it just didn't sound good. When I put it in my Warlockthe sound was awesome. I think this PU is good for Alder bodies. Thetone with a LP was too trebly.
